Glen Park Beautiful is a volunteer, resident-driven effort that seeks to foster the creative spirit of the Glen Park neighborhood in San Francisco, to increase civic involvement and to nurture local talent toward a goal of a more vibrant and beautiful neighborhood.
Its creation in early 2025 emerged from the delight of residents and visitors alike in Burnside’s mural and tiled steps, which was named by the SF Chronicle as one of the top SF 25 destinations for 2025, and more recently in the beautification projects undertaken in Glen Canyon Park and at the Glen Park BART station.

Glen Park Beautiful is also the primary organizer of SF Stairway Month, in collaboration with the Civic Joy Fund, and other partners including Crosstown Trails, Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, San Francisco City Guides, SF Travel, and WalkSF.

Our next major initiative is the beautification of the Bosworth Pedestrian Bridge, with plans for mosaic pillars, native plant gardens at the base and a freshly painted bridge span.

Rooted in community, we work side-by-side with neighbors to bring these initiatives to life. We continually seek input and suggestions for how to make the neighborhood even more vibrant.
